The Ridge Medical Centre has recently gone to planning. It will be a two storey medical centre with basement and roof space expansion accommodation with a compact, deep form. The first floor will be developed around an internal waiting area which will not only give light to the 1st floor rooms but also allows light to penetrate to the central hub public areas at ground floor and enables views to the grade II listed building. The focus is around the health and social pathway of the community in what is envisaged as a “state of the art” facility. The scheme has been developed in close liaison with Bradford PCT and local community groups to assist in the regeneration of this area of Great Horton.
