New modular ward development handed over to Lincoln County Hospital on March 1st 2010! Healthcare Design Partnership were appointed by Lincoln County Hospital to deliver an ultra fast track ward extension. Off site construction was identified as the only solution to deliver the scheme within the required timeframe, and groundworks were carried out in tandem with the factory construction of wards. The scheme was handed over to the Trust on March 1st 2010, seven months from instruction to completion from instruction to completion, with the external works scheduled for completion by Easter 2010. The new wards are fresh and light with 24 single rooms. The scheme will be BREEAM Excellent rated.

The Ridge Medical Centre has been shortlisted for the RICS Pro Yorkshire Awards in the Community Benefit category. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 14th May 2010. In October 2009, an innovative 3000m² community healthcare centre was opened by the Ridge Medical Practice in Bradford, delivering significant health benefits to the community. The Ridge Medical Practice (NHS Bradford & Airedale) is a well established practice with 20 GP’s and over 20,000 registered patients. The development is modern, creative, sustainable and welcoming whilst incorporating conservation through the renovation of listed buildings on site creating an interesting juxtaposition between new and old. The building facilitates a wide range of new service provision to the community whilst relocating the existing practice.
Bradford Institute for Health Research has announced a £2.25million extension at Bradford Royal Infirmary. HDP have designed the new offices that will accommodate a wide variety departments related to health research. The client required a landmark building that reflected the importance of health research in enhancing care in the Trust.
